Blogs that make me think

thinkingbloggerpf8.jpgSusan from Pages Turned has nominated me for a Thinking Blogger Award — thanks Susan! I do my best to think and I guess sometimes I manage it!

The idea is that I’ll now nominate five bloggers who make me think (who can then, if they like, nominate five more). While there are many, many blogs that make me think, these ones are on my mind right now:

Tales from the Reading Room

Telecommuter Talk

The Public, the Private, and Everything in Between

The Books of My Numberless Dreams

The Hobgoblin of Little Minds

  1. Oh my goodness – I feel honored, especially since I consider you (and the blogs you nominated) really challenge me as a reader, writer and blogger – I don’t feel quite up to the company I’m keeping.

Seriously, thanks. I know it’s just a blogging world, but it means a lot. I’ll nominate tomorrow!

  2. Congrats! When does the voting start?

  3. Thank you so much, Dorothy! I’m thrilled to be nominated. I’ll post my own nominations tomorrow.

  4. Thank you for including me among your nominees, and also for providing fodder for an easy next post. Of course, it isn’t as easy as I think, because so many blogs fit the bill for me. Luckily, you’ve listed a good many I would have listed, which gives me room to list others.

  5. Congratulations! What a nice compliment!!

  6. Courtney — you’re very welcome; I always read your blog with pleasure.

Thanks Stefanie, and congrats to you too :)

Litlove and Emily — you’re welcome too, and I look forward to seeing your choices. It IS hard to narrow them down!

Heather — thank you very much! It IS a nice compliment.

  7. Wonderful choices Dorothy. It is hard to decide on just a few when there are so many excellent blogs!

  8. Thanks Dorothy! I hadn’t read Susan’s post before commenting, so please disregard everything that I wrote after congrats! :)

  9. Congrats. A very well deserved honor!!

  10. Oh, wow. I emerge from my private world to catch up on my blog reading only to see this wonderful surprise. I am so flattered and tickled and honoured! Does this mean I must go and nominate too? I shall have such a hard time winnowing it down to five, but since you’ve caught Litlove and Hobgoblin you’ve freed up two spots for me.

    Thank you very much. :)
